Irene is Greek for Peace

As hurricane Irene threatens shorelines and metropolitan areas on the east coast, the name's meaning - peace - weighs deeply. When is the international community going to stop arming and provoking the middle east?

Might collective emotions be vented through natural phenomena?

Well, Hurricane Irene closing in on the US and the Mineral, Virgina earthquake felt all over the east coast are happening at the same day and hour as the media spoghtlights the international coalition's latest assault on Gaddafi. The fight for mineral rights explodes all the way in DC?

Might collective emotions be vented through natural phenomena? The medical community confirms that negative mental states can metastasize into physical disease. On a metaphysical level, what can nationwide waves of emotions ignite? I don’t believe this theory has anything to do with the fate of those who experience this directly. It isn’t about weather related karmic justice, but rather a synch with subtle cause and effect.

This theory doesn't fly skywards to guardian angels, magic or religion. It places responsibility squarely on ourselves. In essence, angelic and Godly potential is part of our human chemistry. If you don't believe in God, you could be underestimating yourself.

Nor do the physics of emotion presume to negate the threat of global warming. Extreme weather is obviously related to pollution. The effects of emotional turmoil and pollution are not mutually exclusive.
