For weeks we observed two extra bright lights in the sky coming closer together every night. Turns out they are Jupiter and Venus magnetically reunited, then circling each other, and finally coming closest in early December to form two designs in complicity with the moon: a smiley face and a frown. Although they have been getting further from each other since then, we still share the same sky.
