Prerequisite to Unity

Yesterday, Michelle Obama said it's her husband's right to choose his own VP, and that's fundamentally true. Ever since he decided not to attend the 40th anniversary of MLK's assassination in Dallas, I have sensed his fear of the worst case scenario. By now I hope it is clear to power mongers that assassination of freedom fighters does not neutralize them. On the contrary, it bestows on them the legendary status of immortality to further their cause. If one can overcome attachment to ego, all fear fades away. As Benazir's son, Bilawal Bhutto said, "How many Bhuttos will you kill? However many, from every house, a Bhutto will come." This ultimate expression of higher self-confidence would be necessary in order to appreciate the value of a partner as strong as Clinton. From her younger days as an activist, Hillary always intended to be the agent of change. Ironically, she now also represents conventional wisdom. Her strengths are there to be tapped, if he can handle her.
